With her sleek lines and wide beam she sails smoothly and comfortably for 90 minutes crossing the ocean to reach her destination of Low Isles a group of small coral cay islands located 13 kilometres from our home port at Crystalbrook Super Yacht Marina in Port Douglas.

We moor the luxury private charter yacht just off shore from Low Isles in amongst the soft coral gardens which allows our guests easy access into the waters to begin their guided snorkel tour adventures with our boat crew.  

And for those turtle fans, Low Isles is a very popular location for snorkeling along side and seeing turtles enjoying life around these islands.

Our private yacht charter team sets themselves apart from other tour operators in that we own one of four tour licenses which enable us to moor our 5 star luxury Lagoon 500 catamarans, at Low Isles Port Douglas. 

With small intimate passenger numbers (a minimum 2 with a maximum of 12 guests), your day of sailing to the Low Isles will be one of intimacy and exclusivity.

Unlike other full day reef trip cruises, we offer a personalised reef experience that, once experienced, will never be forgotten.

An Example of your Private Charter Boat Schedule

A private charter tour to the Great Barrier Reef can begin with an 8.30 a.m. departure from the Crystalbrook Super Yacht Marina in Port Douglas.

Coach transfers will be available from your Port Douglas, Cairns and the Northern Beaches holiday accommodationfor a fee.

The sailing trip from Port Douglas to Low Isles takes approximately an hour and a half, with a 10.00am arrival at the sheltered, idyllic lagoon where guests will receive a snorkelling briefing on the front deck. 

Before Low Isles is reached, passengers will enjoy morning tea which consists of tea or coffee and scrumptious homemade cakes.

Low Isles is an exquisite Great Barrier Reef location, and the reef tour offers visitors the opportunity to experience this little slice of paradise themselves.

The reef surrounding Low Isles comprises itself of 150 species of hard corals and is dominated by 15 species of soft corals. 

This visual snorkeller’s feast plays home to an astonishing array of reef fish including Angelfish, Damselfish, Anemones, Giant Trevally, Sweetlip, Fusiliers and lots of giant Green Sea Turtles.  Manta-rays are sighted daily, as are harmless blacktip reef sharks.

Low Isles Guided Snorkel Tours

Guided snorkelling tours led by our marine interpreters provide an informative and environmental snorkelling experience. 

The calm warm waters of Low Isles are ideal for novice snorkellers and nervous swimmers.

Our visitors can spend the last part of their day soaking up the spectacular views on the relaxing boat ride back to Port Douglas for a 4.00pm arrival at the Port Douglas boat Marina.

Guests have 4 ½ hours on the Great Barrier Reef which is plenty of time to enjoy its amazing natural beauty.
