• There’s history galore in this region and you can learn all about Australia’s solo aviator and Bundaberg’s favourite son Bert Hinkler at the Hinkler Hall of Aviation.
• Head to Mon Repos and watch the nesting and hatching turtles. Turtle season runs from November to March, with mid-November to February the best time to see the turtles laying eggs while the best time to see hatchlings leaving their nests is from mid-January.  
• Head out to sea on a snorkelling adventure of nearby Lady Elliot and Lady Musgrave Islands. These spectacular destinations make sensational selfie spots.
• Bundaberg is also home to a number of beautiful beaches, which make great photographic fodder. To really capture the essence of Bundaberg on your digital memories, climb or drive up the Hummock, the city’s own volcano, for sweeping panoramas of rich red farming lands and blue oceans beyond.
