1770 Sunset Kayak Tour

Your afternoon Sunset Kayak Tour starts at 1770 foreshore where you meet your tour guide and fellow kayakers.  If you need to be picked up from you accommodation in Agnes Water, please ensure to advise at time of booking.

As you get fitted with life jackets and pair up for the double kayaks, your tour guide will then provide some tips on safety and paddling techniques to ensure an enjoyable afternoon paddle.  No experience is required - just a medium level of fitness.

Enjoy the afternoon on the water as you paddle around the Sir Joseph Banks Conservation area and paddle past Captain Cook's landing point before a stop at a secluded beach or sandbar to enjoy the views of magnificent waterways of 1770.

Keep your eye out for the local wild dolphins, turtles, and bird life as you paddle out to the Headland, a great place to spot some marine life!  Please note the dolphins are wild, and sighting can not be guaranteed.  

Finish your kayak tour with one of 1770's famous sunsets as you enjoy a complimentary drink and homemade snack on a beach overlooking Bustard Bay.  Complimentary tour photos are also available from your afternoon tour.
