This 2 day combo package tour deal is one of the best reef and rainforest one-day tour deals in Cairns with something to suit everyone.
Your day starts bright and early at 8.00am with a check-in at the Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal before boarding your fast boat ride for the Great Barrier Reef Tour.
At 8.30am the boat pulls away from the pier and you are on your way for an amazing day of snorkelling, exploring and scuba diving on Green Island.
By 9.30am you'll disembark at the Green Island jetty.
Turtles love to lurk in the shadows under the jetty, so keep an eye out to spot one. And you'll notice that the water is so clear you can already see the many fish species that call the Great Barrier Reef home.
Your finally here on Green Island, and now you have time to choose between snorkelling or taking a ride around the reef on the glass bottom boat tour.
If you are keen you can book both activities to ensure you see as much as possible for your time on the island, just make sure you pre-book your options when booking on-line.
You can laze around on the beach, browse the boutiques, go for a swim in the pool or off the beach, or even add an extra optional activity like visiting the largest crocodile in captivity at Marineland Melanesia.
Make sure you are back at the jetty before 12.00pm, when your return vessel departs the island and brings you back to Cairns Marina.

There are lot's of things to do on Green Island so you will certainly be kept very busy.
While you are on Green Island why not pre-book, for the ultimate reef viewing experience. A 10 and 15-minute scenic helicopter flight from the islands beach, it is sure well worth the small added cost!
Imagine the photos you will be able to show your friends.
A scenic helicopter flight over the Great Barrier Reef is even more exciting during the months of July to August as these are the prime months for the annual migration of Humpback whales on the Great Barrier Reef.
Step up the Green Island snorkelling experience with a Coral Reef Boat Snorkel Tour which takes you further out on the reef to see brilliant corals and marine life away from the shallow waters surrounding the island.
The deeper the water the colder the water, so that means more coral growth and more colour, and the more brilliant and healthy the coral is, the more fish will be attracted to that location.
With small group numbers, this tour is extremely popular for keen snorkellers.
Optional extra tour must be pre-booked.
Scuba Diving is available for both beginners and certified divers. The Introductory dives are fully supervised and a great way to introduce yourself to the world of diving without the commitment of a 4-day course.

Your pre-allocated Skyrail departure time is 1.45pm so make sure you have plenty of time to walk to the Skyrail Terminal to meet your gondola.
Once at the Skyrail terminal, you will be assisted aboard and very soon you will be on your way for the ride of a lifetime over the giant treetops of the world’s oldest rainforest.
The Skyrail journey covers a distance of 7.5kms and takes around 45 minutes.
However, there are two station stops included along the way that provide a unique insight into the rainforest and geology of the area.
Visitors hop off the gondola and take a walk around and see the interactive displays and take photographs of the famous Barron Gorge falls.
The first stop is Red Peak Station. Here, on a 100-metre long boardwalk, a qualified ranger conducts a free 10-minute guided walk.
Your guide will be able to answer any questions you have, and point out the more unique features of this special environment.
While the guided walk is not compulsory, you do need to disembark as the Skyrail line ends and another line begins at this point.
The second stop is at Barron Falls, where several lookouts offer fantastic opportunities for photographs.
The gondola carts sit just above the tips of the trees, and a chorus of birdsong will follow you as you glide over the trees, before arriving in the quaint little rainforest village of Kuranda.
Diamond View Upgrade your Skyrail Gondola to have a full clear perspex floor so you can see the rainforests down below under your feet. Note this option is not for those scared of heights.
Must be pre-booked with package deal.
At 3.15pm a coach will be meeting you at the Skyrail Terminal to take you back to your Cairns accommodation or your Northern Beaches accommodation.
