The 5 Day PADI Learn to Dive course in Cairns is broken down into two components - two days of classroom and pool training and then a three day, two night liveaboard dive trip including nine dives at amazing dive sites on the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

Guests have the opportunity to sleep out on the reef in comfort, complete nine dives including the night dive experience, visit a greater variety of dive sights and have all their food and accommodation included for the boat portion of the learn to scuba dive course.
The Cairns 5-Day PADI Learn to Dive course includes two days of land-based theory and private in-pool training, then three days and two nights at the Great Barrier Reef staying onboard liveaboard dive vessels.
With a total of four training and five certified dives, including one night dive, this course is totally unmatched for experience and greatest value for money and safety.
Learn the basics of scuba diving, both in the classroom and the pool, at the purpose-built modern, diver training centre in the middle of Cairns City.
You learn all about regulating your breathing, how much air is in the tanks and how long you can scuba for.
All safety aspects of diving are covered to ensure safety both in and around the water.
There is also the option of attending Reef Teach, a two-hour marine biology presentation (minimal additional cost.)

With an early departure on day three and a delicious breakfast served onboard, you are finally on your way to the Great Barrier Reef.
Experience the excitement as you complete your first four training dives, which will complete your PADI certification.

The fleet of modern dive vessels boast expansive dive and sun decks and air-conditioned interiors.
Accommodation is either twin or double share.

Swimmers, Towels (2 towels each) and sunscreen. We recommend that passengers bring a small overnight style bag on the boat. Large suitcases / backpacks can be stored Free of Charge at our Pro Dive Cairns retail shop.
The training centre downstairs is on flat ground and wheelchair accessible.
