Enjoy a 1.5 hours Ngadiku indigenous guided Mossman Gorge walk where you will learn about traditional plant use, how to use the trees and bushes of the Daintree Rainforest to make soap and the secrets of traditional ochre painting.

Ngadiku Day Tour

On the same tour you will be visiting the world’s oldest rainforest the Daintree to learn about the most fascinating plants and animals on earth.

Cooya Beach Cultural Habitat Tour

You are travelling north from Port Douglas to a secluded Cooya Beach were you will be guided by Kubirri Warra Aboriginal brothers Linc and Brandon.

They are more than happy to show off their amazing backyard- the beach, the mangroves and the coastal reef.  

These Aboriginal brothers will give you some traditional fishing and bush tucker gathering tips and at the end of the day you are welcomed to their family home where your catch of the day will be served along with fresh Australian damper.

Mossman Gorge

Mossman Gorge is part of Heritage Listed Daintree Rainforest and that’s where you will have an amazing opportunity to swim in a pristine freshwater creek surrounded by the tropical rainforest.

Your guide will fill you in with the secrets of native flora and fauna as you enjoy a leisurely walk along the board walks, bridges and trails.

Keep your eyes peeled on the tree trunks as you may spot Boyd’s dragon, monitor lizards, Ulysses butterfly and various colorful birds.


Delicious tropical lunch is being served in the Mossman Gorge Visitor Centre, backing onto serene rainforest.

You will also have some time to explore the Aboriginal art gallery where local artists’ best pieces are displayed.

Ngadiku Indigenous Guided Dreamtime Walk

On your 1.5h Ngadiku Dreamtime walk you will be whisked away to a secret ceremonial place and greeted with an ancient smoking ceremony.

Walk through Kuku Yalanji Aboriginal people’s land and learn more from your indigenous guide about the traditional plant use, how to make soap in the rainforest and where do Aboriginal paintings get their amazing ochre color.

Finish off your day with the traditional bush damper and tea.
