Our Cairns based charter boat is a catamaran cruiser travels at high speed enabling your conference group to be on Fitzroy Island enjoying themselves in just 45 minutes time from our departure point at the Cairns Marlin Marina.

We carry a maximum of 300 passengers and our private charter boat rates are based on up to 8 hours of boat hire time.

We depart Cairns at 9.30am and cruise to Fitzroy Island and return to Cairns Marlin Marina at 5.00pm

On this Fitzroy Island private charter tour guests can choose to partake in all sorts of in-water activities such as   snorkelling, scuba diving, sea kayaking, glass bottom boat tours, ocean trampoline, stand up paddle boards, and paddle skis.

Guests must pre-fill out the activities that they wish to partake in when your private charter booking is confirmed so that we can ensure that everyone gets to enjoy at least one activity on the day.  

Other Fitzroy Island activities they may enjoy are walking and exploring as this island has some great hikes up the mountain top to the lighthouse lookout, and tree covered walks thru the National Park that lead you on to find the Secret Garden and Nudey Beach. 

No need to worry about the name of that beach as we can assure you everyone is fully clothed.

Fitzroy Island is also home to lots of native Australian wildlife for the nature lovers and a visit to the Cairns Turtle Rehabilitation Centre makes it even more special. Guests can provide donations to the centre for its ongoing care of the rescued sea turtles.

Scuba Diving Restrictions

• Certain medical conditions and medications may preclude some people from scuba diving.
• Participation is subject to a medical questionnaire completed on board with the tour operator
• Minimum age for scuba diving is 12 years.
• Flying after scuba diving: a wait of 12 hours is recommended after one dive, 18 hour after 2 dives and at least 24 hours after multiple dives, before ascending to an altitude of 300 metres or greater.
