The Cairns Private Charter Boat

Our private charter dive and snorkel motor boat is a 20 metre luxury steel hull catamaran cruiser that travels at 23 knots to get passengers to the outer Great Barrier Reef as soon as possible from Cairns Marlin Marina.  

Surveyed to carry 105 guests we limit the number to only 75 guests to provide plenty of space both on the upper decks and lower decks and to allow us to provide a high level of personalised service and attention. 

On our full day private charter Great Barrier Reef tour your group of guests will be spending 6 hours exploring the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef and visiting two different dive and snorkel locations.

Cairns Private Charter Great Barrier Reef Tour

With boarding beginning at 7.30am your delegates will be welcomed aboard the boat by our professional crew and offered an array of pastries, tropical fruit, tea and coffee and given some time to settle in and find an area to relax for the journey out to the Great Barrier Reef.

We begin cruising at 8am and travel at high speed for 30 kilometres to reach our first dive and snorkel reef of the day.

Dependant on the tides and weather on the reef at the time, we will be cruising out to Upolu Reef which has a pure white sand cay that is visible at low and mid tide. 

Guests can get off the boat and choose to snorkel from the sand cay or of the back of the boat into the alluring turquoise waters.

It's here that guests can ride around the coral reef systems in the glass bottom boat with the Marine Interpreter who will be identifying the species of fishes, talking about the hard and soft corals and the inhabitants each variety attracts.

The changing colours of the blue water here will delight your private charter boat guests and no doubt they will be planning on bringing back their own family after visiting such a spectacular location on a business trip like this one.

After enjoying Upolu Reef it’s time for the piece de resistance of all diving and snorkelling destinations, the Wonder Wall!

Travel time to the Wonder Wall from Upolu Reef is only 10 minutes so it gives you time to have a quick snorkel before a sumptuous lunch and for the adventurous people you can join the complimentary adventure drift snorkel tour with one of the boats guides.    

Should any of your guests not be swimmers or very confident in the water the dedicated crew will be there with flotation equipment and some good advice so they may also enjoy the day.

Snorkelling and Scuba Diving

Our custom built dive and snorkel boat was built with a huge rear deck to allow groups to enter the water in space and comfort.

Scuba Diving 

If guests have filled out the Medical Questionaire  and have no prior medical conditions then they should make a booking to try an introductory scuba dive.

We are unique with our introductory scuba diving trips as our private charter boat offers 1 dive instructor for every 2 divers ensuring the guests safety and comfort when trying scuba diving for the first time.

For the certified scuba divers they are guaranteed of small groups seeing the best of the best at all times.

Snorkel Tours

If some of your delegates have never snorkelled before our intructors will show them how to use the equipment and provide them with floatation equipment to ensure they feel safe and have a good experience.  

Private Charter Boat Catering

On our private charter boat tours from Cairns we provide our fruit and pastries with coffee and tea on boarding and then during the day morning and afternoon tea and a buffet lunch as per our standard Great Barrier Reef tour menu of which is included in the boat charter price.
