Itinerary

Prize catches

Land your prize catch just minutes out of the city of Cairns in the calm waters of Trinity Inlet. Being close to the city means more time fishing and, being a large estuary, Trinity Inlet offers protected fishing spots even during bad weather. Your fishing tour starts by throwing a cast net along a tributary edge to catch live bait, usually herring, prawns and mullet. With this bait and the quality rods supplied, you target large local fish and land many hard fighting tropical species, such as Queenfish, Mangrove Jack, Giant Trevally, Threadfin Salmon and Grunter. All fish caught that are of legal size are cleaned, bagged and kept on ice. On returning to the marina, you can have it prepared at high quality restaurant Salt House, just metres from the mooring, for a reasonable cost.

Excellent operation, from the greet and meet, throughout the entire charter. The Captain was very pleasant and helpful. Introduced everyone on the Boat, and did all the re-baiting. Moved positions depending on what was happening. A very good tour operater.

Response From Barrier Reef Australia

Thank you for your review Brian and we are glad you enjoyed your day out with Paradise Sportsfishing Adventures
