Begin your day with a courtesy pick up in an air conditioned coach from your accommodation in Cairns.
Cairns northern beaches or Palm Cove at around 8:00am.

From here your coach will make its way to the station as you prepare to board the Kuranda Train and Scenic Railway.
Departing at 8:30am, the Kuranda Train and Scenic Railway will begin its journey deep into World Heritage rainforest.
Enjoy a magical one and a half hour’s journey from Cairns, through ancient rainforest clad mountains, Barron Gorge National Park and to the quaint rainforest village of Kuranda.
Enjoy breathtaking scenery, towering waterfalls and deep ravines as the train winds its way through 15 hand-made tunnels and over 37 bridges.
Provided with audio commentary, you will learn of the historic railway and the many interesting facts and stories about the ancient rainforest. Soon you will arrive at the iconic Barron Falls where you will have 10 minutes to hop out of the carriage and watch the majestic 260 metre high cascading waters as they flow deep into the gorge.
A great place to snap some holiday photos! Jumping back on board the train, you will then make a short journey to humble and colourful mountain village of Kuranda.
Your Kuranda Train and Scenic Railway journey will soon arrive in Kuranda Village, a quaint and colourful village nestled 1,000 metres above Cairns.
Here you will have around 30 minutes to explore or grab a coffee or morning tea.
Discover the many markets and stalls, pay a visit to the Aboriginal art galleries or grab a bite to eat or a coffee at one of the many cafes.
Visit the many tourist attractions nestled within the community including Birdworld, Australian Butterfly Sanctuary and the Kuranda Koala Gardens where you can cuddle a Koala and have your photo taken.
After enjoying 30 minutes at Kuranda Village, you will then board the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway to enjoy a scenic journey back to Cairns.
This unique experience will have you seated safely in the comfort of your very own cable car, complete with large viewing windows for you to soak in the stunning sights of the rainforest, coastline and surrounding Cairns region.
You will glide above the rainforest canopies and lush green mountains with your highest point reaching 40.5 metres above sea level.
The journey will take around one and a half hours with two stations where you can hop off along the way. Barron Falls Station includes a fantastic information centre conducted by the CSIRO with statistics of the rainforest and animal life.
The second jump off location is Red Peak Station which boasts a 175 metre boardwalk with informative signs along the way to educate you on the rainfores.
You will then arrive at Caravonica Skyrail station at around midday where you will be met by a driver to transfer you to the airport for your scenic flight over the Great Barrier Reef.
Arriving at the Cairns central helicopter pad, you will meet your friendly and experienced Pilot and guide.
As you take a seat safely onboard the aircraft, you will be provided in headsets to enjoy in flight commentary throughout the flight.
Taking off from the helicopter pad you will soon be greeted with breathtaking aerial views of Cairns city and its surrounds.
Have your camera in hand as you fly above the palm tree lined beaches, inland mangroves and estuaries and surrounding rainforest greenery.
Heading east, your journey will begin over the mighty Great Barrier Reef. The sparkling blue waters and swirling reef formations below are nothing less than magnificent!
Soon your will arrive at Green Island, located around 27km from the coast of Cairns. The Green Island National Park is one of 300 coral cays that sit upon the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Of the 300 coral cays, it is the only island cay that boasts both stunning white sandy beaches and true rainforest.
Continuing over the Arlington Reef system, you may be lucky to spot the many marine life that can commonly be spotted throughout the flight. Keep your eyes open for manta rays, turtles, reef sharks and larger tropical fish.
If travelling through the winter months, you may even be lucky enough to spot a Humpback Whale.
Soon your pilot will have you soaring above sand cays. Vlassoff Sand Cay and Upolu Sand Cay are naturally formed, un-vegetated sand island cays that are surrounded by fringing coral reefs and shallow, protected waters.
You may spot some small white tip Reef sharks, Turtles and Blue Spotted Rays resting in the sand.
From 500 feet above the water, you will have endless photo opportunities of these unique natural formations.
From here your helicopter pilot will then begin its descent to the helicopter pad moored on the outer Great Barrier Reef.
Arriving at the Great Barrier Reef helicopter pad, you will then board the luxury vessel moored at a pristine outer reef location.
With 12 exclusive moorings at six reef locations, your outer reef destination will be chosen on the day dependent on weather conditions and water clarity to ensure that you have the best underwater experience on the day.
Onboard the vessel you will have around two hours to relax and explore. Relax on a sun lounge on the top deck, enjoy a cheeky sunbake on the middle deck or take a seat outside on the front of the vessel.
