To your right, you will spot the towering rainforest canopies and never ending stretch of lush green mountain ranges of the Daintree Rainforest, the world’s oldest rainforest and a World Heritage Listed wonder.
Your pilot will point out notable landmarks such as the Daintree River and Daintree Village. Turning south, your flight path will then follow the cascading white waters of the Mossman River as it flows deep into the valley of Mossman Gorge.
Mossman Gorge National Park is home to around 500 native plant species and is well experiencing from the sky.
In the distance, marvel at the rugged ridges and mountainous peaks of the Great Dividing Range, the third largest range in Australia. Soon you flight will veer east as you begin your return journey back to Port Douglas.
