You'll enjoy the comfort of an air-conditioned catamaran and up to four hours at two exclusive snorkel and scuba diving locations with a daily selection from Briggs Reef, Milln, Moore and Thetford Reefs all of which are approximately 40 nautical miles (70 kilometres) from Cairns
Enjoy guided snorkelling on these pristine sites, make use of the free snorkel equipment or upgrade to an introductory scuba dive or certified dive.

Your day begins with a 7.30am check-in at the MV-SK vessel at E Finger, Marlin Marina Cairns for a 8:00am departure.
With a maximum of 30 guests onboard the air-conditioned vessel, you will have plenty of room to relax.
There are also several outer decks for you to soak up the sun and views and snap some fantastic photos of the Great Barrier Reef.
Your journey to the Outer Great Barrier Reef will be via Fitzroy Island to drop of passengers and we will reach our first reef dive site at approximately 9.45am.
Each day we visit 2 outer Great Barrier Reef dive and snorkel locations from a selection of Milln, Briggs, Moore and Thetford Reefs.
Briggs Reef, an exclusive mooring site located on the outer Great Barrier Reef that is a stunning 90-hectare Planar Reef system that is well known for its pristine snorkel and scuba diving conditions.
Here you will have a few hours to relax, snorkel and discover the many underwater wonders that call this reef home.
Your experienced snorkel guide will lead you to the famous “Fish Bowl,” a sandy bowl-shaped lagoon that is home to an abundance of marine life and colourful corals. Keep your eyes peeled for
After exploring Briggs Reef, your vessel will depart for the second reef location.
Lunch will be served en route, including a selection of cold buffet meats, tropical fruits and salads.
Milln Reef is known for its gorgonian fans and variety of resident marine life of turtles, white tip reef sharks, sweetlips and nudibranchs.
At Moore Reef you can dive and snorkel over staghorn thickets and explore around big bommies and other hard corals that are home to wonderful marine life.
Here you will find damselfish, Maori Wrasse, parrotfish, red emperors, butterflyfish and surgeonfish.
Made up of coral bommies, wall dives and swim throughs Thetford Reef is home to many hard and soft corals like staghorn and plate corals that support an abundance of marine life.
It's here you will see giant clams, butterflyfish, damsels and angelfish.
The Cathedral and Blue Lagoon are our two favourite diving and snorkelling locations.
Sudbury Cay and Reef
Soon you will arrive at Sudbury Cay, a large sand cay nestled on the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
Sudbury Cay is almost the size of a cricket pitch and its shallow waters offer a fantastic location to spot for marine life.
Enjoy a snorkel along the bottom of the cay and search for giant clams, manta rays, colourful coral formations and large tropical fish just three to five metres below the surface.
As you swim past the spectacular plate, brain and elephant ear corals, you will find hundreds of fish species playfully frolicking in the coral formations.
If you are lucky, you may get to meet the resident giant Maori Wrasse, Wally, one of the friendliest fish on the Great Barrier Reef and a known photobomber!
To truly discover the wonders of the outer Great Barrier Reef, we highly recommend adding a scuba dive to your day tour.
With highly experienced PADI instructors onboard, no experience is necessary and you will be sure to enjoy a safe and memorable experience.
For introductory divers, your instructor will lead you through a pre-dive briefing where you will learn all of the techniques and safety instructions needed for your guided introductory dive.
Once prepared, you will be teamed up with a buddy before making your way into the water from the vessel’s dive platform on the back deck.
Your guide will have you diving no deeper than 10 metres and pointing out marine life, corals and bommies along the way.
Diving locations are chosen on the day dependent on water conditions and visibility.
For certified scuba divers, the outer Great Barrier Reef has many world-class scuba diving locations on offer, including the iconic 20 to 30-metre “drop-offs” at Sudbury Cay.
Certified Divers have the option to upgrade to a guided dive with an experienced PADI instructor.
Your diver instructor will choose the best location on the day.
After enjoying a full day on the Great Barrier Reef, your vessel will depart these coral reefs at around 3.30pm.
Enjoy the fun cruise back to Cairns – and don't forget to bring some cash or a credit card so you can enjoy a sunset beer onboard on the trip home.
You'll arrive back at Cairns Marlin Marina at approximately 5.00 - 5.30pm.
