This distinct cultural Great Barrier Reef tour departs daily out of Cairns and travels to 2 outer Great Barrier Reef dive and snorkel sites, Moore & Miln Reefs.

It is a full day Great Barrier Reef tour with a duration of 8.5 hours on a snorkel only boat which can cater for up to 65 passengers.

Most suitable for snorkellers however, there is also a glass bottom boat tour for non-swimmers included.  

During the day a sumptuous hot and cold buffet lunch is served as well as morning & afternoon tea.

Our Aboriginal Cultural Great Barrier Reef tour departs Cairns Marlin Marina at 8.00am and returns by 4.30pm.

Cairns Great Barrier Reef Tour Itinerary

7.30am: Check-In at the Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal

8.00am: Depart Cairns Marlin Marina

9.30am: Arrive at the first outer Great Barrier Reef site

3.00pm: Depart the second Great Barrier Reef site

4.30pm: Arrive at Cairns Marlin Marina

First Great Barrier Reef Dive and Snorkel Site – Moore Reef

2hrs to snorkel and/or scuba dive, and take a glass bottom boat tour.

Scenic helicopter flights are also available at the first site. 

Second Great Barrier Reef Dive and Snorkel Site – Miln Reef

3hrs to eat lunch, snorkel and/or dive. Guided Snorkel Safari is available at this site.

Alternatively, you can relax on the top deck on one of the sun lounges. 

On the return to Cairns

Enjoy afternoon tea before boat journey back to Cairns.  Indigenous rangers will be happy to answer any questions about their Dreamtime stories and Aboriginal culture.
