Our Townsville based private charter boat is a steel mono-hull 17 metre boat capable of cruising at 8 knots and a 1B survey that permits her to operate up to 200 Nm from shore on the East Coast of Australia and more specifically from her home port of Townsville.

The private charter boat is well suited for overnight or extended snorkel and scuba diving trips on the Great Barrier Reef and we explore some of the most amazing dive sites on the Great Barrier Reef such as the Yongala ship wreck.

The dive boat can accommodate up to 20 passengers in air conditioned cabins and features 3 star accommodations and 5 star diving for the adventurous folks!

If you are a member of a dive club then this is the perfect liveaboard dive boat to charter from Townsville to explore the famous ship wreck the S.S. Yongala and the outer and middle sections of the Great Barrier Reef.

Boarding: Friday, 7:30 pm / Departure approximately 10:30 pm / time for a stroll to enjoy dinner along the Strand or Palmer Street

Saturday morning: Wake up at the Yongala Wreck just in time to watch the sunrise… before diving the world famous wreck.

Relax in between diving to the sound of the ocean and share your impressions of this amazing dive site.

Saturday afternoon: We get prepared for one more dive before dinner.

Relax as the sun goes down over the horizon.
A unique night dive is on offer for the adventurous ones

Sunday: After watching the sun rise over the horizon it is time for yet another couple of dives to explore the features of the wreck and to say good morning to the early bird marine life

Time to relax on the way back home and share your pictures and stories with the fellow divers and crew.
Arrive back in Townsville around 5:00 pm

Scuba Diving Restrictions

• Certain medical conditions and medications may preclude some people from scuba diving.
• Participation is subject to a medical questionnaire completed on board with the tour operator
• Minimum age for scuba diving is 12 years.
• Flying after scuba diving: a wait of 12 hours is recommended after one dive, 18 hour after 2 dives and at least 24 hours after multiple dives, before ascending to an altitude of 300 metres or greater.

• Note you must bring your certs and Logbook with you to show on board. If you have less than 10 dives you must purchase 2 Guided Dives
• Your dive qualifications (minimum Open Water required for SS Yongala)

• Note: In a medical emergency, any evacuation, vessel relocation or medical expenses, are the final responsibility of that passenger. Divers Alert Network (DAN) www.diversalertnetwork.org and Dive Assure www.diveassure.com offer comprehensive insurance packages specially for scuba divers.
