Private skippered power boat charter for up to 8 guests, offering 4, 6 or 8 hour itineraries from Hamilton Island or Airlie Beach, with snorkelling, island stops and optional catering in the Whitsundays.

This private power boat charter is designed for guests who want flexibility, speed and access to quieter parts of the Whitsundays without sharing a vessel.

What to Expect

Private Charter Overview

Chartering your own skippered power boat allows you to experience the Whitsundays at your own pace. Rather than following a fixed route, your skipper works with prevailing conditions to select the most suitable snorkelling locations, protected bays and beach stops on the day.

With fast transit times and shallow draft access, the Protector RHIB can reach fringing reefs, island beaches and sheltered anchorages that larger vessels cannot. This means more time in the water, more flexibility with stops, and a more relaxed day overall.

Departures from Hamilton Island suit shorter express charters, while longer half-day and full-day itineraries from Airlie Beach allow you to explore deeper into the Whitsunday Island group.

Features and Highlights

The Vessel – 8.5m Protector RHIB

The Protector RHIB is purpose-built for performance and comfort in island conditions.

• Teak decking throughout the vessel
• Lounge-style seating that can be adjusted to suit each group
• Sun lounge on the rear deck
• Freshwater shower and toilet in the mid-cabin
• Easy-access swimming ladder
• iPad media centre with Bluetooth audio

This setup makes it ideal for snorkelling-focused days, relaxed island hopping or private celebrations.
