This is our premium luxury Cooktown tour where we show our guests some of the most beautiful scenery in Far North Queensland and show them the historical sites, and tell the stories of days gone by.
Our guests will explore beautiful Mossman Gorge where they can enjoy a guided tour of the rainforest and learn all about the local Kuku Yalanji Aboriginal people and their connection to this region.
We then head off for a 1 hour wildlife cruise on the Daintree River and enjoy a lunch in Cape Tribulation and then be taken to your accommodation in the rainforest.
Then you’ll be driven up the Alexandra Range to view the showcase of panoramic rainforest views that are a photographer’s delight! Keep enjoying the sights as you travel along the impressive 4WD Bloomfield before arriving at the famous Lions Den Hotel.
On arrival in Cooktown North Queensland’s last frontier town, your tour guide will take you to the top of Grassy Hill for amazing panoramic views of Cooktown, the Coral Sea and Endeavour River before a guided tour of this heritage town.
Guests then check into accommodation in Cooktown
Visit the heritage listed Cooktown Cemetary and James Cook Museum, explore the Botanic Gardens before a visit to Natures Powerhouse.
It's then time for lunch at own expense before we hit the outback roads to make our way back to Cairns. We stop off along the way at Black Mountain and Byerstown lookout and the Palmer River Roadhouse.

Spend a night in the enchanting rainforest and a night in historical Cooktown.
You will have plenty enough time for self exploration and touring on your own in both Cape Tribulation and in Cooktown to add to the tour.
After the scenic coastal drive from Cairns and Port Douglas we arrive at beautiful Mossman Gorge for our first tour of the rainforest.
We then enjoy a quiet river cruise down the Daintree River looking for saltwater crocodiles and viewing all of the other native Australian animals that frequent this mighty river system.
It's then onto see Cape Tribulation Beach and then for a barbeque lunch in the rainforest.
In the afternoon your tour guide settles you into your Cape Tribulation accommodation where you can relax and enjoy yourselves for the evening ahead.
Whilst in the Daintree Rainforest search for the endangered Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo and rare Southern Cassowary, both of which are unique to Tropical Far North Queensland.
Or you may spot a crocodile sunning itself on the Daintree River banks or keeping a sleepy but keen eye on you while you cruise along in your little boat!
Keep watch for other delightful birds, butterflies and wildlife as they come down to the river for a drink, a paradise for photographers!
We board the luxury 4WD vehicle and begin traversing mountain ranges and crossing creeks to make our way along the famous Bloomfield Track and onwards for refreshments at the famous Lions Den Hotel.
We then head off towards Cooktown and visit the lookout at Grassy Hill for panoramic views of Cooktown, the Coral Sea and Endeavour River.
Your tour guide then gives you a guided tour of Cooktown to get you familiarised and then settles you into your Cooktown accommodation.
Today we visit the heritage listed Cooktown Cemetary and James Cook Museum to learn about this fascinating goldrush town.
Then its onto explore the Botanic Gardsns on a guided walk before we vist the Nature's Powerhouse Cafe, Art Gallery and Visitor Information Centre.
Once everyone has enjoyed lunch we say farewell to Cooktown and head back south to Cairns along the Mulligan Highway.
We stop en-route at Black Mountain, Byerstown Lookout and the Palmer River Roadhouse.
Along the way you will see remnants the old gold mining days and grazing bullocks from the surrounding cattle stations.
By 7.15pm all guests have been returned to their respective accommodation and farewelled new friends.
