You'll arrive at the picturesque tropical village of Port Douglas, ready to see some iconic marvels at the Wildlife Habitat. This eco-friendly park is a joyous interactive experience, where you can upgrade on the day to handle a python or cuddle a koala!
Exploring on, you’ll cross the one and only Daintree River ferry, toward the oldest rainforest known to man! Here, in this ancient jungle, you’ll uncover an evergreen realm of towering Kauri Pines, pristine secluded beaches, and breathtaking monuments; such as the famed Alexandra lookout.
You’ll likewise have time to enjoy a mouth-watering lunch at Cape Tribulation, and walk on Cape Tribulation beach.
See the only place on the entire planet where two world heritage icons exist side-by-side. Delight in the 100-180 million year old jungle, while looking out over the esteemed Great Barrier Reef.
The town of Port Douglas is universally renowned. A tropical haven of local arts, crafts and eateries, on the cusp of a magnificent coastline, glorious Port Douglas is home to the phenomenal Wildlife Habitat.
The native Australian animals are weird and wonderful; endangered cassowary birds that stand at almost 2m, dragon lizards and 13 species of mammals that are found only in this part of the world.
On the Wildlife Habitat tour, you'll see all these rare native characters and more.
There’ll be professional photo opportunities with koalas & reptiles, and you'll also hear some fascinating facts about the inhabitants of this Australian wildlife adventure.

You won't have to leave your coach to cross; this engineering wonder will allow you to look out across the meandering river from air-conditioned comfort. You'll then wind your way under rainforest canopy to the extraordinary Cape Tribulation.
Shaped like a jungle basin, the valley is surrounded by a monolith of mountain peaks, and sandy cays with azure waters. It is almost in the heart of the oldest rainforest known to mankind.
This place of wonder was named by Captain Cook, who said it was a labyrinth where all his trials and tribulations begun.
But you'll find this lush terrain a wanderer’s delight where you can indulge in a tropical lunch, and store the most magical memories of this colourful and alluring haven.
With so much to do and see at Cape Tribulation, this tour provides a friendly guide to ensure you don't miss a thing; there could be a White-lipped tree frog, or even rarer, a giant Stick insect!
As you explore the raised boardwalks through the rainforest, you’ll feel as though you've returned to a long-gone era. Your guide will explain how the Kuku Yalanji Aboriginal people call this their land, and point out native fruits & maybe the world’s oldest flowering plant; the 150 million year Idiospermum.
You’ll then travel from the heart of the forest to the peak of a mountain. At the Alexandra Lookout, you’ll marvel at an awe-inspiring vista of Port Douglas, Black Rock, Low Isles, and the mouth of the Daintree River.
Cruise the Daintree River, encompassed by evergreen rainforest-vines, with the echo of rare birds and catch sight of the large Estaurine Crocodiles, some up to 5 m in length, lazing on the banks.
