Enjoy a quick, 45-minute cruise from Cairns Marlin Marina to beautiful Fitzroy Island aboard a spacious, air-conditioned high speed catamaran.

With rugged, diverse landscapes, pristine beaches and a surrounding fringing coral reef, there's something for everyone to enjoy on Fitzroy Island.

You'll have one hour on Fitzroy island to quickly explore the sites and be as active or relaxed as you like whilst you wait for the next boat ride for the Great Barrier Reef tour where you will spend the rest of the day snorkelling and scuba diving.

Discover unique wildlife and flora and soak up the incredible views as you hike along the island's many walking tracks; snorkel straight off the beach into the fringing coral reef and discover a world of diverse, colourful marine life and coral formations; or simply lie back on the white sand beach.

After an amazing hour on Fitzroy Island, it's time to hop back on the boat and cruise to Moore Reef pontoon for five hours of fun on the Reef.

Moore Reef Pontoon - Great Barrier Reef Tour

Our boat now makes its way to our recently built interactive floating pontoon, or island fun park as we like to call it, on the Moore Reef.

She is 45 metres in length, and boasts one of the Great Barrier Reefs largest two-storey floating pontoons on the reef offering plenty of room for sunbathing, relaxing and enjoying alll the in-water and on the pontoon activities.

Here we will be exploring the reef for the next four hours

Our biggest attraction for families and those who like a bit of fun is our new theme park style Spaghetti Waterslide, the only one of its kind on the Great Barrier Reef from Cairns, that will have you splashing directly into the crystal-clear waters of the Great Barrier Reef.

This interactive activity platform also has two large dedicated dive platforms which makes getting in and out of the water quick and easy so you can enjoy snorkelling and exploring the reef at your own pace throughout the day.

A hot and cold buffet lunch on the pontoon is included.

Spend the afternoon relaxing on the sundeck or choose from a range of in water and out of water activities, including snorkelling, glass bottom boat ride and semi-submersible submarine tours, underwater viewing observatory, touch tank presentation, fish feeding presentation, enclosed kids pool.

Optional Extra Activities

Book for the guided snorkelling tours to learn all about the reef and the marine creatures, take a 10 minute scenic helicopter flight over the coral reef, try an introductory scuba dive or book certified scuba diving, and for something really unique book Seawalker helmet diving which is similar to scuba diving but with this you do not even get your hair wet and you do not have tanks on your back!.

In water flotation devices are available for individuals with limited mobility/non-swimmers.

We highly recommend this Great Barrier Reef tour for non-swimmers as there are so many other ways to see and experience the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef on our floating pontoon.

Famous fish encounters are made here every day with Wally the photo bombing giant Maori Wrasse fish who is like a playful puppy and all of his other friends.
