On your FREE COOLOOLA TOUR, you will enjoy some of the most spectacular scenery that nature has to offer, including:

  • Visit Noosa North Shore to get up close to kangaroos

Arrive at Fraser Island and visit 75 Mile Beach, Eurong Beach, Yidney Dripping Rocks, Eli Creek, Maheno Shipwreck, Coloured Sands and Indian Head. Some wildlife that can be seen may include; Dolphin, Turtles, Sharks and Whales.

Day two you'll visit Pile Valley Walk, Central Station, Wanggoolba Creek, Lake Birrabeen, Scenic Lakes Drive and 75 Mile Beach other great sites.

Fraser Island 2 Day Eco Tour

Day 1.)
Pick ups start from 5.45am on the Gold Coast, 7.15am in Brisbane and at 9.15am from Noosa then you’re off to see some kangaroos, the Red Canyon, Teewah Beach and Rainbow Beach on your free tour of Cooloola National Park.

On arrival at Fraser Island it’s time to explore!

  • Check out 75 Mile Beach
  • Eurong Beach
  • Yidney Dripping Rocks
  • Eli Creek – the largest fresh water stream flowing out to sea on the Eastern side of Fraser Island
  • Lunch (may be provided at one of a number of locations, and can be swapped with Day-2 to suit conditions)
  • Maheno shipwreck
  • Coloured sands
  • Indian Head with dolphin, turtles, sharks and whale sightings (July - September)
  • Eurong Resort check in time
  • Restaurant dinner

Your time will be spent enjoying a refreshing dip in the cool sand filtered water as it flows between the sand dunes and out onto the beach. 

Strolling the board walks that are built along the banks of the creeks for those who want to just take pictures and enjoy a lunch as provided.

You can photograph the Maheno Shipwreck - a beautiful contrast between a pristine beach and a man made structure.

Marvel at the Coloured Sands, see the myriad of colours on display, as natural leaching of oxides and vegetable matter stain the each grain of sand over thousands of years. Indian Head where dolphins, turtles, sharks and whales can be seen.

Eurong Resort Fraser Island

Check in to Eurong Beach Resort accommodation on Fraser Island, a resort only accessible by four wheel drive.

Pile Valley Walk

  • Lake Birrabeen, Lake Birrabeen is one of 4 spectacular Blue Lakes found on Fraser Island. With snow white sandy beaches and crystal clear blue fresh water, set in the middle of rainforest, Lake Birrabeen is a tour highlight. Less well known and harder to access than Lake McKenzie, Lake Birrabeen is the largest of the Blue Lakes, and considered by locals and those in the know as the most beautiful lake on Fraser Island.

In the afternoon you will head back to Eurong Resort for a late lunch (additional cost) and depart the island at approximately 2.30pm to arrive back in the Sunshine Coast at 5.00pm, Brisbane at 6.30pm and Gold Coast at 7:30pm.
