Enjoy a memorable half day cruise to a remote Fraser Island beach where you can walk on the fine silica sand, soak up the Queensland sunshine, explore and enjoy some of the beach activities on offer.
From relaxing or exploring the beach of Fraser Island, this is sure to be a great day for all.
Departing from Hervey Bay you can spot dolphins, turtles, dugongs and a wide variety of bird life as you enjoy a scenic cruise towards to remote west coast of Fraser Island. Enjoy exploring a quiet patch of the western side of Fraser Island where you can kayak, snorkel, swim and even take a ride on an inflatable! Of course if you wish to lie back and relax or maybe build sandcasltes - the choice is yours.
Some basic fishing equipment and bait is also available for those who wish to try their hand at catching a fish from the beach. You are welcomed to bring your own fishing or snorkelling gear if you like too!
The knowledgeable crew onboard will provide you with interesting commentary about the local geography, wildlife and local Aboriginal Butchulla culture. During your day on the beach at Fraser Island the crew will also prepare a tasty BBQ lunch complete with local Hervey Bay prawns, premium steak, sausages, freshly made salads and bread rolls.
Enjoy complimentary tea, coffee, milo and filtered water during your day along with a fully serviced bar - perfect for a cold refreshment on the cruise back to Hervey Bay.
Travelling onboard the comfortable purpose built vessel with small passenger numbers (max 40 guests), spacious decks, onboard toilet and plenty of seating onboard you will be able to enjoy your day in comfort. Remember to bring your camera too - with free WiFi you'll be sure to snap some great shots to share online and make your friends wish they were there.

Departing from Great Sandy Straits Marina, Hervey Bay at 9am your adventure begins as you board and meet the friendly crew.
Enjoy a comfortable cruise spotting dolphins, dugongs, turtles and birds as you cruise out towards a remote beach on the western side of Fraser Island and/or Pelican Bank. Morning Tea will be served including herbal teas, coffee, milo and complimentary fresh fruit and cakes as you soak up scenery and fresh ocean air.
On arrival at Fraser Island you will be transferred accross to the beach on the tender where you can enjoy approximately 2 hours of relaxing, exploring and beach activities. Kayaks, snorkel gear, fishing equipment and inflatables are all available for use.
A fresh BBQ lunch will be served including local Hervey Bay prawns, premium steak, sausages and fresh salads. Complimentary tea, coffee, water and milo are available onboard, as well as the fully stocked bar for additional drink purchases.
On the return cruise back to Hervey Bay enjoy a cold drink from the bar as you take in the stunning natural scenery, returning back approximately 2pm.

Access ashore is via our tender, guests need to be physically fit and have a degree of coordination to access the tender (rigid inflatable boat) and going ashore. No wheelchair access to the beach.
