How To Get to Great Keppel Island
Take the Yeppoon-Rockhampton turnoff from the Bruce Highway
A 30 minute drive will have you in beautiful Yeppon and the Capricorn Coast.
Turn right and after a short 10 minute drive you will see the Rosslyn Bay Harbour turnoff.

Keppel Island ferry transfers depart twice daily 7 days a week with extra services during busy times.
Bookings are essential so get in quick.
The ferry transfer takes approximately 30 minutes and departs from Rosslyn Bay Harbour.
Please check in at the Keppel Konnections Office 30 minutes prior to departure. Arriving at Fisherman’s Beach on Great Keppel Island, you will then have the opportunity to explore this spectacular island destination.
The return ferry will depart from Fisherman’s Beach. Please check in 15 minutes prior to departure.

Explore coral reef, snorkel off Monkey Beach; some of the species you might see are turtles, clown fish giant clam and maori wrasse. Whenever you snorkel please be mindful of tides & currents, the best time to snorkel is on a mid tide.

There is no jetty on Great Keppel Island, the ferry pulls straight onto the beach and as guests disembark their feet are straight into the soft white sand, shoes and long pants are not recommended
