Island safari Whitsundays is one of the largest adventure vessels in the region, powered by four three-hundred horsepower engines driving a seventeen meter high speed vessel.
We only take a maximum of 24 passengers.
Getting there is half the fun!
Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet
Our friendly crew will guide you snorkelling and to the lookout at Hill inlet, Whitehaven Beach, chill out on the beach or try some snorkelling.
Frequently Asked Questions
Bring swimwear, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, footwear for bush walk, water bottle (free refills on the boat) and a jacket to protect from wind chill and ocean spray, especially in the Winter months.
Food & Drinks
Water refills are available on the boat for free.
Lunch can be provided for an additional charge, please order when you book.
There is also bottled water, soft drinks, alcoholic drinks, and snacks for sale on board.
You can bring your own lunch and soft drinks but no alcohol as we are a fully licensed vessel.
Dietary Requirements
Yes, we cater for most dietary requirements, please let us know your dietary requirements when you book your meal.
Medical Conditions
The tour is not suited to people who have back, neck or spine injuries and not recommended if you are pregnant.
There is a medical questionnaire that all customers must complete prior to the tour. If you unsure then get in touch.
Whitehaven Beach Lookout Bush Walk
The bush walk to Hill Inlet lookout takes around 20 minutes and needs moderate fitness levels.
Snorkelling Locations
There are a range of snorkel sites available and where we go on the trip is based on the conditions on the day.
Some of our favourite spots are Chalkies, Windy Bay - Haslewood Island and Bali Hai, Cockatoo point, Manta Ray Bay - Hook Island.
Our guides are diving professionals giving you the best and safest experience possible.
Toilet on Board
Yes, we have a marine toilet on board.
Swimming Abilities
We have life jackets and noodles on board and in water guides, however you must be able to swim to be able to go snorkelling.
Snorkelling is not permitted for people that cant swim.
Stinger Suits
Stinger suits are worn all year round to protect from the stingers and provide sun protection.
There are also wetsuits available for when the water is cooler.
Seasickness
Due to the open design and speed of the vessels travel, it is very rare to experience sea sickness on board, but we cannot predict how your body will react, so some passengers may still get sick.
If you are prone or worried about seasickness, we advise that you take seasickness medication 30 minutes before stepping on board.

- Check in is at Port of Airlie Marina, which is a 5 minute walk from Airlie Main Street. The meeting point is at the entrance of Arm E.
- Meeting place is the Port of Airlie Marina, out front of Rufus and Co cafe at 8.30am. Port of Airlie Marina is a 5 minute walk from Airlie Beach Main Street.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be in writing.
Please note that all cancellations will incur an administration fee.

Stinger suits are worn all year round to protect from the stingers and provide sun protection. There are also wetsuits available for when the water is cooler.
Cancellations need to be advised in writing, the following conditions will apply:
100% refund – for bookings cancelled more than 48 hours prior to date of travel.
We recommend taking out travel insurance to cover cancellations within a 48 hour period.
Bookings cancelled at any time within the 48 hour cancellation period will not be refunded. The customer forfeits 100% booking price.
AQUA5 Dive Cancellations – AQUA5 reserves the right to cancel dive trips at any time for the following reasons:
- Bad weather conditions – generally over 15/20 knots the trip could be cancelled
- Minimum numbers not being met – we require a minimum number of 9 divers before a dive is confirmed.
- Poor visibility or unsafe conditions
- A full refund will be made to customers if AQUA5 cancels a dive trip due to weather or numbers.
Please note you need to be able to swim to snorkel.
