  • There are three restaurants and a juice bar at the Rainforestation Nature Park so you certainly won’t go hungry!
  • Jack the Ripper, one of the largest crocodiles in captivity. Coming in at over 5 metres in length and weighing almost a tonne, you can view him from the safety of the Rainforestation Nature Park’s elevated boardwalks.

Our Kuranda Nature Experience combined with a Kuranda Train ride gives you access to all three attractions at the Rainforestation Nature Park, time in the Kuranda Villiage and a trip aboard the Kuranda Scenic rail. A guided Wildlife Park tour, a Dreamtime Walk, and a Army Duck Rainforest Tour!

Hand feed the free roaming kangaroos and wallabies in the landscaped gardens, observe the giant endangered pre-historic cassowary bird, see wombats and lace monitors, and view local snakes and other scaley reptiles, along with cute cuddly koalas.

Local indigenous Pamagirri Aboriginal guides welcome you to join them on a journey to discover the Dreamtime and learn about the fascinating customs and ancient traditions of Australias Aborigines.

Experience the tropical Kuranda rainforest from a totally unique perspective aboard an amphibious World War II Army Duck and visit a tropical fruit orchard with over 60 different species of exotic tropical fruit trees.

Spend some time in Kuranda Village before boarding the Kuranda Train and Scenic Railway for an unforgettable journey through the rainforest of Far North Queensland Australia.
