You'll participate in a Dreamtime Walk and learn to play the didgeridoo; a large instrument made from a hollowed tree.

Many indigenous Aboriginal tribes were nomadic and relied on hunting to eat. Some of the tools used were the boomerang and spear - Throw a boomerand and watch a spear throwing demonstration.

You'll also adore the music and dancing extravaganza, and watch out for a surprise at the end of the show!

Army Duck Rainforest Tour in Kuranda

Explore this World Heritage Kuranda rainforest from a unique perspective aboard an amphibious World War II Army Duck! This authentic vehicle from a long gone era uses a 6 wheel drive to manoeuvre hills and ravines, and a rudder to propel itself through creeks and rivers!

Enjoy the ride of your life crossing the various terrain on a guided tour, as your Duck Captain identifies and shares facts on the wildlife and land.

Locals and visitors have both spotted a water dragon sunning on the shore, and even a cassowary in the bushes!

Your tour will lead you to a spectacular tropical fruit orchid, where rare delights like the Miracle Fruit tree grows; a berry that can magically turn sweet to sour and vice versa on your tongue!

You'll be riding among the largest fleet of Army Ducks in Australia, on this truly remarkable rainforest journey of a lifetime.
