On Day 1, from the beautiful town of Alma Bay, you’ll practice skills such as buoyancy, navigation, along with search and recovery and 3 dives!
Your expert instructors are both welcoming and knowledgeable locals, and will go through each lesson with step by step tuition at the best dive sites.
And on Day 2, you’ll be ready to put your new found talent into practice with 2 dives on the Yongala Shipwreck! The magic begins on Day 1 of this sensational Advanced Adventurer Dive Course from the get go!
On the tropical shores of Magnetic Island, you’ll embark on your new and thrilling lessons from Alma Bay.
Directly from the ocean, you’ll fine tune some of your skills with a friendly and expert dive instructor, along with gaining more techniques!
Since your welcoming instructor is likewise a local, you’ll be learning new talents from some of the most stunning aquatic sites on the island!
There are a few compulsory facets to embark on, such as honing your buoyancy and navigation knowledge, and a practice wreck dive at the legendary Moltke Shipwreck at Geoffrey Bay.
They’ll be 3 training/adventure dives on the first day, as well as all questions discussed and exemplary tuition with a point-by-point explanation.

All up, you’ll embark on 5 adventure dives for your Advanced Adveventurer dive course.

While gaining your Advanced Open Water dive certification, you’ll embark on one of the world’s most incredible and globally renowned diving phenomena’s.
The S.S. Yongala Shipwreck is legendary in dive circles for its awe-inspiring appearance and sheer abundance of marine life.
Every kind imaginable!
You read correctly; while completing your wreck, boat and deep dives at the Yongala, you’ll witness a never ending parade of vibrant reef fish, sea-turtles, rays, eels and every other imaginable ocean creature.
In fact there is such a multitude of marine life, that the density of them sometimes obscures the wreck!
One of the magical highlights of this wreck dive is also incredible personal experience; while some divers claim every creature, from the resident giant groper to the clown fish colonies, grow bigger here than anywhere else.
Other divers have literally felt the frequency of whale-song echoing across the ocean!

Day 1: Course cancellation must take place 7 days before course date for a full refund. Cancellations within 3-6 days will incur a 50% loss of deposit. Cancellations within 2 days will incur a 100% loss of deposit.
Day 2: 20% Cancellation fee applies to cancellations between 48 hours and 14 days’ notice. 100% cancellation fee applies with less than 48 hours’ notice.
