After exploring Port Douglas, your coach will journey through a blanket of cane fields and an incredible vista of tropical alps.

On arrival at Mossman Gorge, you’ll enter the realms of behemoth trees and whispering, flowing rapids, and be surrounded by the musical echoes of birds calling through the forest.

From your friendly tour guide you'll hear all about the local Kuku Yalanji Aboriginal people and learn about the customary smoking ceremony, performed to keep negative energy and spirits at bay.

Nature lovers will adore the trek across shady boardwalks which lead to suspended bridges over sparkling rapids.

You might even spot a rare Hercules Moth which has the largest wing area of any moth in the world!

Cape Tribulation Tour

The natural wonderland of Cape Tribulation is set in a valley, encompassed by mountain peaks and scenic coastline.

It’s home to 65% of Australia's butterflies and 20% of its songbirds, some of which are found only here.

Though discovered by Captain Cook, the cape’s origins are ancient.

Flora and fauna are estimated at 100 to 180 million years old. Cape Tribulation is the only place on earth where two World Heritage listed regions meet.

See the rainforest and reef showcased at breathtaking Alexandra Lookout; a peak with a mesmerising view of Shipwreck Bay, Snapper Island and the iconic Daintree Rainforest.

At its historic beach, enjoy a walk and a refreshing swim if you want. You can also indulge in a delicious lunch at the cape’s colourful village.

Daintree River Cruise – Crocodile Express

Entering something close to ‘The Land That Time Forgot’, this oldest rainforest on earth has preserved rare flora and fauna since prehistoric times.

It is also a place of mystery and legend. Aboard a boat on the Daintree River, you’ll see wildlife in its natural habitat.

Journeying under a canopy of ancient trees and through emerald terrain rich with hidden life, you may spot a massive saltwater croc lazing in the sun or even a magnificent cassowary, a 1.5 to 2m emu-like  bird with rainbow plumes, watching from the shady shores.

You'll learn how some of the meandering mangroves and wildlife species are found nowhere else, in this ecosystem that is the only in existence with two World Heritage icons living side by side.

Rex Lookout

The Rex Lookout is our last iconic stop on the way home to Cairns.

This lookout offers stunning coastal and forest vistas along the Great Barrier Reef and her outlying Islands.

This is the spot where hang gliders launch themselves into the air pockets and hope they get a big rise into the heavens above.

Simply amazing views
