In case you were wondering, Marrdja is indigenous for ‘Rainforest Walk’. This botanical walk is one of the most impressive on the planet; it is set in a 150 million year old rainforest, after all!
Under a canopy of trees, and past clear freshwawater creeks, you’ll adventure on an interpretational walk and guided presentation through the Daintree.

After a day discovering the wonder of Cape Tribulation and Mossman Gorge, its time to venture on the Daintree’s extraordinary river!
Step on board your cruise and explore the river with your guide. With 40% of the country’s butterfly species, and 30% of Australia’s reptile, you may very well see an iconic Ulysses butterfly, or rare water dragon; both of which are unique to this part of the world.
The main attraction of the Daintree River however is the world’s last living dinosaur; the Saltwater crocodile. Known to grow over 5m in length, you will see these prehistoric wonders sunning themselves along the riverbanks on this incredible cruise.
