PRICING AND PAYMENTS:
Quoted pricing is valid from February 1st, 2026, until February 1 , 2028, unless otherwise specified by Closehaven Pty Ltd, and is inclusive of GST.
A 20% surcharge applies to services booked during specified peak periods (see below).
PAYMENT AND DEPOSIT DETAILS:
A 30% deposit is required to confirm any reservation.
Pre-arranged payment options may apply if agreed upon prior to booking.
The full balance (or proof of payment) is due at least 14 days prior to the charter departure.
Bookings made during peak periods must be paid in full at the time of booking.
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS:
If the Hirer cancels the charter after the deposit has been received, the 30% deposit will be forfeited.
If the Hirer cancels within 72 hours of the charter departure, the full charter cost is forfeited.
If the skipper deems it unsafe to travel due to weather or tidal conditions, all payments will be refunded to the Hirer.
Charters booked during Peak Periods are non refundable.
If Closehaven Pty Ltd is unable to provide a vessel for the intended charter period, the Company reserves the right to cancel the charter and will refund any deposits.
In such an event, Closehaven Pty Ltd is not liable for any costs or damages incurred by the Hirer.
This cancellation policy applies unless exceptional circumstances arise, in which case the matter will be addressed by Company management on a case-by-case basis.
LIABILITY AND DISCRETION DISCLAIMER:
Closehaven Pty Ltd is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property incurred during the charter, including while boarding, onboard, or disembarking the vessel.
Guests participate in all activities at their own risk.
Reef and fishing charters are subject to the discretion of the Company management and the Captain, considering weather conditions and availability.
The Company reserves the right to modify itineraries or cancel charters due to safety concerns, without liability for any additional costs incurred by the Hirer.
Refunds will only be provided if the Captain deems it unsafe to proceed with the charter.
By booking, guests agree to follow all safety protocols and instructions provided by the crew.
MEDICAL AND HEALTH INFORMATION:
We welcome all guests to travel with us.
Our crew is fully trained in first aid and equipped to respond to medical emergencies. However, please note that outside medical assistance may not always be immediately accessible, as we may need to return to land or reach a location suitable for helicopter access.
We recommend guests disclose any medical conditions or special needs prior to departure to ensure the safety and comfort of all onboard.
PEAK PERIOD RATES:
A 20% surcharge applies to all bookings made during the following peak periods.
Full payment is required at the time of booking for any charters made during these dates:
Easter: From Good Friday to Easter Monday inclusive.
Christmas: From December 20th to January 10th inclusive.
