Your helicopter scenic flight tour begins with a courtesy pick up from your holiday accommodation in Port Douglas before making your way to the central helicopter pad in preparation for departure.
You will be greeted by your friendly helicopter Pilot for a pre departure briefing.
As you board the helicopter you will provided with a headset for in flight commentary throughout the journey.

Your helicopter scenic flight from Port Douglas will have you in awe as you see with your own eyes the breath taking views of the picturesque sea side town of Port Douglas as you gently lift off from the heli pad.
As the helicopter climbs skyward you then begin to see the surrounding beaches, coastline and fringing coral reefs out on the Great Barrier Reef.
As your 30 minute tour proceeds your helicopter pilot will be providing commentary as you fly over the fascinating landscape of Mossman Gorge National Park and the towering rainforest canopies of the Daintree Rainforest.
As your journey begins, your Pilot will head south east from Port Douglas and over the stunning golden sands and blue waters of Four Mile Beach.
Continuing towards the Coral Sea, marvel at the unique reef and coral formations below as you soar above Alexandra Reefs.
Keep your eyes peeled for the abundance of marine life that can be spotted in the shallow reef lagoons, including turtles, dugongs, rays, large tropical fish and if you are lucky, Whales.
As the helicopter makes it's journey back towards the mainland, watch as the blue waters of the Great Barrier Reef transcend into the lush rainforest greenery and rugged mountainous peaks of the Tropical North Queensland’s diverse landscape.
Soon the helicopter will be flying above the infamous Mossman Gorge National Park. Home to over 500 native plant species, the national park boasts towering ridges, cascading clear waters and swirling river swells.
Have your camera ready as your Pilot points out the mighty Mossman Gorge and Mossman River.
Continuing east, marvel at the waterfalls and towering mountain peaks of the Great Dividing Range, the third largest mountain range in Australia.
To your left, you will spot the towering rainforest canopies and stretch of lush greenery of the Daintree Rainforest, the world’s oldest rainforest and a World Heritage Listed wonder.
As you make your way back to Port Douglas, you will fly above the Alexander Range, Cow Bay and Cooper Creek with the Coral Sea and the Great Barrier Reef in the backdrop.
In the distance you will be rewarded with fantastic views of nearby Snapper Island before flying above the beaches, luxury resorts and iconic sites of Port Douglas.
Before enjoying one last scenic view of Port Douglas and its surrounding coastline and rainforest, your helicopter flight will return to the central helipad.
