• 07.45am: Check in at our Vessel Voyager and meet your captain and crew. Fresh fruit and delicious pastries are available to enjoy with a selection of premium teas and freshly ground local coffee.
• 08.00am: Depart to the Great Barrier Reef.Morning, safety briefings and marine talks will be provided on our way to the reef. The crew will also provide snorkelling instructions.
• 10.00am: Your exploration of the Great Barrier Reef commences, with our warm and friendly Marine Biologist guides. Learn about the reef in a sustainable and eco-friendly manner.
• 12.00pm: Lunch is presented grazing-style on a large rainforest timber banquet table, in the air-conditioned saloon. It’s a sumptuous feast of elegant proportions featuring hot and cold dishes that showcase fresh local produce.
• 12.30pm: Jump back into the Coral Sea for more Great Barrier Reef exploration. Our Marine Biologists will ensure you connect and engage with this fascinating underwater landscape in an enriching way.
• 2.00pm: Voyager commences the return journey to Port Douglas. Afternoon tea will be available in the air-conditioned saloon and our bar will be open.

Port Douglas Snorkel Tours - The Boat

This custom-built vessel measures 16 meters in length and 5 meters in width. It is capable of traveling up to 200 nautical miles offshore, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable day exploring the Great Barrier Reef.

Voyager's carries a maximum of 24 guests to ensure a personalized and enjoyable experience. We are excited to have you join us on board for an unforgettable snorkelling tour adventure.

Our vessel is outfitted with state-of-the-art safety gear, top-quality snorkelling equipment, and all the essential amenities to ensure a fun-filled day. With a beamy design measuring approximately 5 meters wide, this vessel boasts a comfortable cruising speed of 20-22 knots and can reach a maximum speed exceeding 28 knots. The shallow draft allows us to access lagoon reef sites that are inaccessible to larger boats, providing a unique and exclusive experience for guests.

Inside the air-conditioned cabin, you will find a cozy dining area with seating for 4 individuals. The extensive rear deck features covered seating for 12 guests: two tables for 6 people each and an additional seating area for 6 more, all sheltered from the elements.

At the front of the boat, the compact bow offers a perfect vantage point for observing the mesmerizing underwater world of the Reef. Accessibility to the water is made easy with two large ladders located on the rear platform.

Our vessel is well-equipped to handle relatively rough sea conditions, accommodating winds of up to 20-25 knots. This vessel provides a smooth ride in various sea states and is furnished with two restroom facilities for added convenience.

• Non-Swimmer Policy: Non-swimmers are welcome but must be booked in advance so we can arrange a private guide to ensure your safety in the water. This service is available at an additional rate of $590 per group.
• Introductory Diving: Introductory scuba diving is available for first timers. Please note the minimum age to participate is 12 years old. No prior experience needed. Certified instructors provide full safety and equipment briefings, then guide you underwater for about 20 minutes to a maximum depth of 10 metres. Health restrictions apply - Guests will be required to complete the PADI Diver Medical Questionnaire. If you answer “Yes” to any item (e.g., asthma, heart/cardiac issues, diabetes, ear/sinus problems, recent surgery, pregnancy), doctor’s clearance may be required before diving.
• Dietary Requirements: we can accommodate vegetarian, vegan and other dietary requirements, but do require advance notice. Please provide details at the time of booking, so our crew can prepare meals to suit your clients needs while maintaining premium quality onboard.
