One of our most popular scenic flights is the Cape Cleveland and Magnetic Iland 45 minute helicopter scenic flight from Townsville as guests are able to see so much more of Far North Queensland in a short space of time.
Departing from Townsville Airport we firstly weigh our guests and provide them with a safety briefing before we strap them into the seats of our helicopters and begin our 45 minute scenic flight over the Great Barrier Reef.
Each guest is fitted with a headset so they may communicate with the helicopter pilot and talk about the scenery and places you fly over in the helicopter.
The helicopter pilot will share some local history about the 1879 built Cape Cleveland lighthouse which you will see is perched high on the wind beaten cliff face on the most northerly point of Cape Cleveland and the entrance to Cleveland Bay.
If you are coming to Townsville on a cruise ship tour then this is the perfect shore tour for you to do on the mainland.
