• Our ex-racing yacht is based in Townsville and we sail over to Magnetic Island to pick up island guests and take them to Five Beach Bay for snorkelling on the fringing coral reefs.
• We visit secluded bays around Magnetic Island that are inaccessible to land lubbers land do some snorkelling and meet some of the local marine life on the fringing reefs.

Join us on a wonderful half day sailing tour from Townsville to Magnetic Island for some snorkelling on the fringing reefs that are teeming with marine life. Our yacht has a pedigree in ocean racing and she gets us to where we need to be in the shortest amount of time.

Departing from our home port of Townsville and then calling into Magnetic Island we set the sails and begin our sailing tour to a secluded bay with 12 guests on board.

Magnetic Island is 8 kilometres or 5.0 mile offshore from Townsville and offers visitors 5184 hectares of mountainous island which is 70% World Heritage listed National Park with 24 kilometres of bushwalking tracks and 23 beach bays some only accessible on a boat.

On Magnetic Island guests will see pine forests, World War 11 artefacts, shipwrecks and native Australian wildlife such as cute koalas, Rock Wallabies, Echidnas, possums and around 187 bird species. 

There are 23 bays around Magnetic Island where you can meet the marine life and enjoy the perfect vista before you.

For the half day sail and snorkel tour we will anchor at Five Beach Bay and enjoy some lovely morning tea as we bob around on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.  

We then don our snorkel gear and hit the water to meet the wonderful marine life here that are very friendly.
