The accommodation on our Whitsundays rent a yacht has the perfect configuration for a family group or for groups of good friends to get together and enjoy a fully crewed sailing holiday amongst the 74 islands in the Whitsundays  

4 x Single Shared Saloon Accommodation - There are beds in shared/open plan salon area, for up to 4 people to share and sharing the bathroom with other guests.
2 x Private Double Cabin - There are two private double cabins with curtains, 2 people to share each cabin and sharing the bathroom with other guests.
2 x Private Double Ensuite Cabin - There are two private double ensuite cabins with curtain, for 2 people to share each cabin and each with own bathroom.

Our Whitsundays charter yacht was custom made and purpose-built for sailing charters in the Whitsundays.

Built in Melbourne, she is a Woodward designed 47’ Sloop that combines the comfort you want for cruising without compromising the lines that supply stable yet fast and efficient sailing.

You may charter the yacht for a minimum of 1 night or more to sail around and explore the islands in the Whitsundays group on a Great Barrier Reef tour in Australia.

All Whitsunday yacht charters are quoted on a charter-by-charter basis dependant on the number of guests, the number of days and on-board provisioning requests.

Sample Private Charter Yacht Itinerary

The following itinerary is an example of a scheduled cruise. All cruises are subject to weather and tidal conditions and the Captain’s professional judgement in putting together the best itinerary to keep guests happy, safe and well.

Day 1

Meet your boat crew at Coral Sea Marina in Airlie Beach at 8am for a head count, to depart the marina at 8:30am.

Enjoy the breathtaking island views as you sail across the Whitsunday Passage to Whitsunday Island, finding anchorage at Tongue Bay.

Take a guided bush walk to the Hill Inlet Lookout to the view of Whitehaven Beach before heading down and spending an hour or two exploring the beach.

In the afternoon we will sail north to another island where we will anchor the private charter yacht just before sunset.

After dinner, grab a drink and enjoy the evening with your friends.

Day 2

Early rise for breakfast, and kit up with snorkelling gear, ready to jump in over the fringing coral reefs to see the fish and coral.

Time for morning tea before heading to another location for a swim, snorkel or a beach stop.

After lunch, it is time to set the sails once again and make way across the Whitsunday Passage.

Arrive back into Airlie Beach at 4pm.

• A hat, sunscreen, swimwear, beach towel, thongs/sandals, sunglasses, any alcohol you may want to drink and a happy smile!
• Pack light clothing and personal items in a soft bag for storage but do remember a lightweight jumper as the nights may get a bit cooler.

• Children need to be able to swim confidently and be under the supervision of family or carers at all times
• Children aged 4 years and over can travel on this tour at full adult rates. Please advise any child ages at time of booking. This yacht is an active sailing vessel, crew are unable to babysit children, parents are fully responsible for child’s behaviour whilst on tour.
