From Airlie Beach, our crewed 18.5-metre (60ft) pocket maxi racing yacht will take you on a fun-filled, adults-only shared charter sailing cruise of the Whitsunday Islands. A great social cruise for budget-conscious 18-35s, you’ll get to kick up your heels with a maximum of 22 passengers.

Experience the thrill of sailing aboard our former racing yacht which competed in a number of offshore ocean races, including the world famous Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race. You can even find out what it takes to sail by helping the experienced crew navigate their way around the beautiful Whitsunday Islands on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

By day, you’ll enjoy lots of snorkelling and paddle boarding opportunities on the Great Barrier Reef and fun-filled beach time as we travel to stunning Whitsunday Islands destinations, including:

• Whitehaven Beach, on Whitsunday Island - where the 7km of famous white silica sand is so pure it squeaks
• Hill Inlet and Hill Inlet Lookout - located at the northern end of Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet is one of the most famous and popular sites in the Whitsunday Islands, where the ocean and sand shifts to create mesmerising turquoise swirls.  

There’s no end of amazing adventures to be had on our Whitsundays sailing tour:

• snorkel the stunning fringing coral reefs and meet unique marine life, including clownfish (Nemo!), stingrays, Giant Maori Wrasse (called George) and sea turtles
• paddle board above the colourful coral reefs and explore island bays
• bushwalk around the Whitsunday Islands including Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet

Sample Itinerary: 2-day, 1-night Whitsundays Sail

Day one:

Morning: Depart Abell Point Marina, Airlie Beach at 8.30 and then we sail across the beautiful Whitsunday Passage.

Mid-morning and lunch: Enjoy morning tea and lunch before your first activity either exploring Hill Inlet Lookout and Whitehaven Beach or snorkelling stunning fringing coral reefs.

Evening: We sail to a calm overnight anchorage location to serve dinner and drinks, enjoy the sunset and party with your fellow passengers.

Day Two:

Breakfast: The next day will start with a yummy breakfast and the alternate activity from the afternoon before.

Lunch: Enjoy a delicious lunch on board before we set sail for your final snorkelling location.

Afternoon: Arrive back at Airlie Beach Abell Point Marina at 4.00pm. But the fun’s not over - all guests are invited to an “after party” in an Airlie Beach bar where you can order discounted drinks and dinner and meet other adventurers. Listen out for the details as you cruise back into Abell Point Marina.

NB: All overnight tours are subject to tidal conditions, weather and the professional judgement of your captain.

• Dinner: Sausage & Bread, Hamburgers with Cheese, Tomatoes, Onions, Beetroot, Pineapple (Canned and Pickles, Potato Salad and Greek Salad

Day Two

• Breakfast: Breads, Cereal, Yogurt and Fruit Platter with Melon, Fresh Pineapple, Oranges, Apples
• Lunch: Wraps with Cold Meats, Tortillas, Tomatoes, Carrots, Onion, Capsicum, Cheese, Baby Spinach, Coleslaw and Potato Chips.

• All cruises are subject to weather and the vessel operator’s discretion. At certain times of year ‘dangerous’ jellyfish inhabit these waters and passengers should take care for their own safety. Passengers entering the water do so at their own risk and the owners or operators of the vessel will not be liable for any personal injury, illness, death or any other consequences whatsoever of passengers being stung by jellyfish. To minimise this risk, you will be provided with a full length protective ‘Snorkel Suit’ to wear whilst swimming and snorkelling during the cruise.
