Itinerary

Maxi Sail on a Tropical Adventure

This superior vessel design just happened to win the famed Cape Town yacht race, and will now steal a place in your heart! With 22 metres of spacious deck, they’ll be plenty of room to embark on the island journey of a lifetime, while socialising freely with new forever friends. The beauty of this cruise is not just discovering the iconic Whitsundays and Great Barrier Reef, but how you do it!

On this venture, the opportunity to master the ropes, wind the winches, and hoist the sails is on offer for boating enthusiasts. And for lovers of relaxation, you can lounge on deck with your feet skimming the waves as your exhilarating vessel weaves through the sea.

Your friendly crew will share some snorkelling tuition and tips to enhance your time in the water too. You’ll be fitted with a mask, snorkel and fins before embarking on a coral fantasyland, rich with marine life. As you peer down into the crystal waters, any day could bring a succession of sea-turtles, coral reef fish and sting-rays. And every day promises a rainbow array of yellow Angels, orange Clowns (Nemo) and magical Damsels; fish that change from emerald to sapphire before your very eyes! Not to mention the ever-present giant clams and vivid starfish on the ocean floor!

Out of the 74 tropical cays, Australia’s largest cluster of island jewels, some boast the rarest scenery and most photographed imagery in the country. The Whitsundays isles you’ll explore on this cruise are a collection of rainforest-covered mountain peaks, glistening waterfalls, unique marine and wildlife, and pristine beaches and inlets. Only 8 islands here are inhabited, so it’s likely you’ll venture upon an authentic deserted beach.

With icons such as Whitehaven, Hayman, and Hook islands, you’ll find an exhilarating plentitude of activity provided by nature. Whether it be trekking to majestic lookouts or snorkelling vivid reefs, the Whitsundays are a sensational exploration waiting to be discovered by you.
