Discover this legendary lot of tropical islands on the Great Barrier Reef with a hearty hands-on sailing expedition. Choose to learn the ropes, or relax while sunbaking and snorkelling, along with making new friends!
4 day 3 night sailing holidays are now on offer from Airlie Beach for up to 19 guests to explore the wonderful Great Barrier and the Whitsunday Islands.
We have just released our brand new sailing holiday itineraries to excite our guests. We now include an island visit to Hamilton Island or Long Island (weather permitting) and a day snorkelling on the outer Barrier Reef (we are the only liveaboard boat to offer this opportunity) to explore the pristine coral and abundant marine life.
While discovering some of the most legendary paradise in existence on the Whitsundays, you’ve chosen to do it on a world famous Maxi Yacht! This renowned vessel has won esteemed races, such as the Sydney to Hobart, Bermuda Cup, and still competes during Hamilton Island Race Week each year.
So if you’re a sailing enthusiast, there’s simply no better boat in Airlie Beach to learn the ropes and hoist the sails!
And for those who seek relaxation in the sun, feel free to lounge on deck, dangle your feet in the sea, and let the islands drift by!
With a friendly and festive atmosphere, you’ll explore the stunning Whitsundays on the Great Barrier Reef by sailing on balmy winds to destinations like the famed Whitehaven Beach, and pristine Hook and Hayman Islands.
You’re welcome to trek through rainforest and explore dazzling lookouts, snorkel in a rainbow of coral, or simply frolic in the azure waves.
Our fun, attentive crew memebers will prepare scrumptious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner to nourish your endeavors, and the nighttime’s are spent stargazing and sipping wine in good company.
Families are now also welcome with children from 12 years of age
Which is accompanied by the laughter and chatter of new friends on this once-in-a-lifetime journey.
Boat Layout:
The 74 Whitsunday Islands resemble a cluster of emeralds, rising from an azure sea-blanket.
What was once a terrain of volcanos and tectonic plates now billows into an array of rainforest peaks, lush valleys, pristine beaches and shimmering aqua coves.
You’ll sail to the northerly end of the passage, past the golden shorelines and evergreen mountains.
You’ll find stepping on board this cruise the ultimate in sailing, snorkelling and island-hopping!
Your exhilarating vessel just happens to be one of the most famed in maxi yacht history, winning a vestige of renowned world races, while still competing to date!
If you’ve dreamed about the freedom of sailing, this boat and your welcoming crew offer you the opportunity to help with winches, hoisting, and even take your turn driving at the helm!
Both the deck and sleeping bunks are spacious and comfy, and provide the perfect atmosphere for engaging with new friends, or relaxing when you’re in the mood.
You’ll cover over 100 kilometres of magical Whitsunday sightseeing on the tropical winds!
While sailing through the superb Whitsunday Passage, between the isles of Hook and Hayman, it’s not uncommon to see Humpback whales from June till November; such is the magic of the Great Barrier Reef.
The coral reef here is an endless array of rare marine life. Blue Pearl Bay is a place you’ll find beautiful as its namesake, with a sublime teal, emerald, and sunshine-yellow display of Parrot, Damsel and Angel fish.
And in the glorious coral gardens of Manta Ray Bay, you’re more than likely to see these silvery, ethereal creatures gliding by.
Langford Reef is a rainbow extravaganza of underwater coral forests, adorned by a fiesta of resident reef fish, along with sightings of sea-turtles.
The reefs you visit will be chosen by your skipper depending on weather conditions and coral quality, yet we can promise each one you visit will prove to be nature’s own Disneyland!
