You’ll visit exclusive Whitsunday Islands beach locations unable to be reached by larger cruise ships as the shallow draft of our catamaran ensures direct beach access and easy access in and out of the water. These include:

• Tongue Bay - a popular anchorage which offers protection from the prevailing south-easterly winds 
• Whitehaven Beach - where the brilliant white silica sand is so pure it squeaks!
• Hill Inlet -  the best place to view the famous swirls of Whitehaven’s turquoise, blue and green water

You’ll also get to explore the fringing reefs off Hook Island and anchor at stunning Blue Pearl Bay off Hayman Island or in the Langford Reef Area.

Our spacious, French-designed 41-foot Lagoon catamaran is built to promote a more stable sailing experience and offers style, comfort and privacy for guests. She is equipped with:

Your Trip

Departing Airlie Beach at 3.00pm on Saturdays, an array of experiences limited only by your imagination are possible each day aboard our luxury adults-only shared charter sailing boat.

Over the next 3 days our couples have the opportunity for bush walks, sailing, swimming, snorkelling, sunbaking, beach hopping, and diverse wildlife spotting of native Australian animals in the Whitsunday islands.

Sail the calm and pristine waters of the Great Barrier Reef, enjoy exclusive, protected anchorages and discover world famous Whitehaven Beach with its 7 kilometres of almost pure white silica sand.

The spectacular fringing coral reefs provide world-class snorkelling and are bursting with an abundance of marine and bird life.

If you’re visiting between July and October, you’ll be amazed by the sight of Humpback Whales as they breach and play in the azure waters of the Great Barrier Reef. These gentle giants make every trip to the Whitsundays an unforgettable experience!

What to bring sailing

As you will be on a sailing boat it’s always best to pack as lightly as possible for storage purposes, so we suggest you will only need the following:

• A day bag for beach visits and bush walks
• Clothing for the duration of the tour
• A long sleeve top and long trousers/pants for cooler evenings 
• Toiletries
• A beach towel, although one will be provided
• Swimmers
• Hat and sunglasses
• A book, music player or tablet (there are power points available onboard)

Whitsundays Sailing 3-Day, 3-Night Itinerary

Jump onboard and prepare for a peaceful holiday surrounded by beauty. Head over to the islands in time for sunset over the water as you enjoy a glass of your favourite wine and meet the others whom you’ll be spending time with. Have your dinner served under the stars before tucking in for the night in your cabin.

Wake up in the morning to the stunning island scenery surrounding the boat and enjoy a leisurely breakfast on board. Sail down to tongue bay to make your way up to Hill Inlet Lookout and take in the stunning vista of the world-famous Whitehaven Beach. Spend some time exploring the beach itself before coming back on board for lunch on the go. Watching the beautiful scenery change as you sail north.

Jump into the delightful water for a swim and snorkel over the beautiful coral reefs teeming with bright colourful fish. If you’re lucky, spot a turtle or meet George the Maori-Wrasse! If there’s time, possibly go for another beach visit or snorkel before sharing an antipasto platter while you watch the sunset.

Dinner under the stars once again as you wind down for the evening. In the morning enjoy another stunning vista with breakfast on the deck. Maybe jump in for a cheeky swim before setting sail for the mainland.

For our three day and three-night trip, you will have a whole extra day to mosey on through the secluded bays and coves around the Whitsunday Islands. Take everything a little slower and come back with more knowledge of the islands than some of the locals!
