Guests enjoy 2 days and 1 night sleeping in this luxury first of it's kind in Australia, underwater accommodation on the reef amongst the beautiful Whitsunday Islands on the Great Barrier Reef. Moored offshore, 40 nautical miles from Airlie Beach at Hardy Reef, this new 5-star accommodation gives a whole new meaning to ‘a room with a view'. Each one of our luxury Reef suites has a two-person capacity and guests can arrive via Airlie Beach, Hamilton Island or Daydream Island or even on a private charter helicopter flight.

Both ensuite rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows; allowing you feel like you are part of the underwater aquarium. At night, you can turn on the light to observe the more nocturnal marine life that are attracted to these lights as they illuminate the water enabling you to see marine life that you probably did not see during the day. Sit up in your luxury bed and watch as the reef comes to life and the fish perform their underwater ballet before you.

Over 4000 new corals have been planted on this reef and the marine biologists say the coral and plants will attach themselves to the outside of the pontoon luring even more sea life to our underwater hotel.

Scuba Diving Restrictions

• Certain medical conditions and medications may preclude some people from scuba diving.
• Participation is subject to a medical questionnaire completed on board with the tour operator
• Minimum age for scuba diving is 12 years.
• Flying after scuba diving: a wait of 12 hours is recommended after one dive, 18 hour after 2 dives and at least 24 hours after multiple dives, before ascending to an altitude of 300 metres or greater.
