A luxury 51ft charter yacht all to yourselves, catering for only 10 guests to explore remote reefs on the Great Barrier Reef away from crowds and in style, departing from Port Douglas.
She is 51 feet of luxury and space and even has 4 cabins for guests wishing to experience more of the Great Barrier Reef on liveaboard overnight private charter sailing tours.
Her home port is in beautiful Port Douglas in Tropical North Queensland, Australia and she was purpose built to cruise these waters and show guests the uniqueness of the Great Barrier Reef on a luxury private charter sailing tour.
All one day private yacht charters are professionally catered for by our onboard French chef, and the yacht is crewed by a skipper and an in water guide / deckhand.
Day trips to the Barrier Reef from Port Douglas are our speciality and there is no better way to fully experience the reef and the magic of the cruising experience, sailing aboard your own private catamaran with up to 10 people made up of your friends and family.
Please note their is a fluffy mascot onboard called Splash.

Private Charter Yacht Option 1
Low Isles
The Low Isles are a spectacular island group located on the Inner Barrier Reef only 8 nautical miles offshore from Port Douglas, usually about a 1 hour sail.
The Low Isles Islands offer beautiful and easy snorkelling, plenty of turtles and sea life, relaxing on the beach and enjoying our water sports activities.
The island is home to a lighthouse and there are historical walks and educational items to view
This is a perfect location for kids, or guests who are learning to snorkel.
The island is visited by other Great Barrier Reef tour boats, and you may find yourself sharing the beach on this small Island.
This island also offers a safe anchorage in windy conditions.
Private Charter Yacht Option 2
Outer Reef – Tongue Reef
Our second recommended option is to sail out to Tongue Reef. This is a gorgeous reef located 18 miles offshore from Port Douglas on the Outer Barrier Reef, about a 2 hour transit.
Tongue Reef offers a wider variety of coral species and more marine life. You can really see all the Reef has to offer here, and we often engage in ‘drift’ snorkels here.
This coral reef location can please both experienced and the younger ones alike.
We can cater to all your preferences and have activities such as snorkelling, stand up paddle boarding, fishing, spearfishing and of course sailing.
The Port Douglas Private Charter Yacht Details
Our private charter yacht has a full communication system on board with satellite phone and Internet facilities which are available for guest use at an extra cost should you wish to keep in touch whilst we are at sea.
She is a 51 foot purpose built catamaran designed for the long term live aboard market on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
- The saloon / cockpit area is combined and was designed to comfortably sit 20 people.
- There is a sit down table for six persons and a 200-lt freezer incorporated into the table.
- State of the art galley with all the mod cons built in including, double gas cooker, double sink, fridge, coffee machine, juicer and microwave.
- A 5 KVA diesel genset is on hand for the AC 240 volt needs
- Stainless steel BBQ oven in situated on the duckboard.
- Top of the range water maker (80 lit/ per hour) is on hand when fresh water is required.
- Outdoor hot shower on the port rear
- Washing can also be done at any time with a 8 kg front loader on board
- Selden, the world largest mast makers, provided the rig and Horizon Sails provided the sail plan.
- Single line reefing allows for the main to be dropped and reefed from the helm. Along with the furling jib and spinnaker.
- Quality lumar winches and hatches provide muscle and watertight integrity where required.
- Twin 54 HP shaft drive diesel Yanmar engines push the boat along in reasonable weather at 8 to 10 knots. When under sail the folding 3 blade props tuck away to minimize drag allowing 15 to 18 knots to be achieved.
- The aft steps were designed for easy access, getting on and off the boat a breeze.
- Slatted timber decks provide a safe platform to access the anchor area, ideal for activities including sunbaking, yoga and chilling out.
- The runabout is a 5-metre RIB inflatable, driven by a 20 HP 4 stroke Yamaha.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be in writing.
We understand things may change, so we have made cancellations very easy.
In every instance we always recommend you purchase travel insurance for life’s last-minute hiccups.
Please see our terms and conditions for details prior to booking.
Operators policy:
- Customers wanting to cancel or postpone a confirmed booking must give notice in writing within 30 days prior to departure of charter. Deposits paid will be refunded in full, less administrative fee.
- All cancellations made, including within the required notice will incur a $540 administrative fee. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to departure will not be refunded.
- Bookings cancelled inside of 30 days prior to departure will be refunded 50% of the total charter payment.
- Unsafe Weather . The Captain may be forced to cancel all or part of a trip due to unsafe seas and weather. All efforts are made to ensure the customer/s are given due notice of changes to the charter. Alternative plans will be considered with the customers full knowledge. In the event of a cancellation (Captain’s call), the client will have the option of postponement or full refund.
