Port Shorts Film Festival

Australian actor and festival ambassador, Stephen Curry, claims Port Shorts is “Australia’s newest and shiniest short film festival.”

Held in the glamourous yet laidback tourist town of Port Douglas, Port Shorts aims to encourage budding filmmakers.

With the event culminating in a night watching some of the most accomplished short films from around the world under the stars.

If you’re a short film maker, consider entering. With prizes up for grabs, including mentoring by industry professionals, it’s worth a shot.

Categories include: best music video, films under four minutes, and films under 10 minutes.

This event is best for couples, backpackers and anyone with a keen interest in culture and films.
