Set within the picturesque surroundings of the Whitsunday Islands, the Fujifilm Hamilton Island Triathlon is the ultimate sporting challenge for both professional and budding athletes.
Taking place every year in November, the Fujifilm Hamilton Island Triathlon attracts both competitors and spectators from across the region.
The event includes three races that cater to all ages and abilities.
The Sprint Triathlon takes place in November and entrails a 20km cycle around the southern part of Hamilton Island, a 750m swim through the clear waters of Catseye Bay and a 5km run stretching along the resort and marina.
The Junior Triathlon and Splash’n Dash is for entrants aged 14 years or under.
For those seeking a little less of a challenge, the Dent Dash is a popular social event that includes a run or walk throughout the picturesque Hamilton Island Golf Club on nearby Dent Island.
Choose either the front nine or the back nine or the entire 18 holes. Entry in includes a buffet breakfast.
