Jungle Ride

Description

This event is all about raising money to support local not-for-profit, KIND, that aims to assist children diagnosed with a debilitating illness, terminal illness, or injury.

Jungle Ride started in 2009 as a small group of riders.

It was then that Port Douglas local, Lesley Stephens, had a vision to create an annual event that would see people from all backgrounds, ages, and fitness levels, gather to raise money for a worthwhile cause.

This year hundreds of riders are expected to participate... and they will be riding through some of Australia’s most breathtaking scenery from Port Douglas to Cape Tribulation.

Designed for riders of all fitness levels, there is an option to suit all abilities:

90km ride end-point: Safari Lodge, Cape Tribulation

120km ride end-point:  Port Douglas

180km ride end-point: Port Douglas

On the day of the event all cyclists will be accompanied by support vehicles and there will be regular stops for food, drink, and toilet breaks.

This event is best for individuals, couples and families
