A highly personalised small group snorkelling tour from Port Douglas that takes guests to the best spots on the outer Great Barrier Reef.
You will not experience another snorkelling tour like this from Port Douglas. With our exclusive Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority permit, we have the flexibility to explore our chosen reef locations freely, away from the crowds of tourists and popular reef spots. We often visit multiple locations in a single day to provide a diverse Great Barrier Reef tour for our guests.
Departing Port Douglas, we offer an exhilarating chance for individuals seeking to snorkel in remote locations 20-30 miles offshore, where they can encounter rare marine creatures up close for the first time! Each one of our snorkelling tours accommodates a maximum of 24 passengers, ensuring a highly personalized and exclusive guided snorkelling adventure.
We are not tied down by the need to stick to permanent moorings, allowing us to seek out truly remarkable destinations. If we come across something extraordinary along the way, we take the opportunity to dive in and explore. If it captivates us, we linger and enjoy the experience.
Our capacity to cruise and venture into uncharted territory from Port Douglas allows us to offer exceptional, traditional exploratory days that are truly unforgettable.
There is no other snorkelling tour that offers the outer reef experiences like this day tour unless you book your very own private charter boat.

***New Vessel Voyager From 01/12/25***
Voyager is our newest luxury catamaran, a 20-metre vessel designed with the space to host up to 60 guests, yet purposely limited to just 24 guests for a more exclusive experience. Its aesthetic is unmistakably yacht-inspired with bright, white finishes throughout the interior and exterior, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable day exploring the Great Barrier Reef.
Inside, you’ll find a fully air-conditioned lounge with plush seating and business-class style arrangements. Outdoors, queen-sized daybeds on the sundeck and cushioned benches on the bow invite you to unwind in the sunshine, while the shaded aft deck offers a cool, breezy retreat.
Every detail has been thoughtfully considered — from the soft, barefoot-friendly decking to the custom ocean access system that allows guests of all ages to step effortlessly into the water. A rear-facing bar, immersive multi-zone sound system, and refined timber yacht finishes complete a charter experience that feels elevated, contemporary, and distinctly premium.
Our vessel is outfitted with state-of-the-art safety gear, top-quality snorkelling equipment, and all the essential amenities to ensure a fun-filled day.

Vessel Policy: On days with low passenger numbers or unsuitable weather conditions, it may be necessary to move people between our two vessels, Voyager and Independence. Prices:
All prices on our website or sales literature are based on booking directly with ABC and are subject to change.
From 15 June 2025, all direct bookings made via the ABC website will have the Environmental Management Charge (EMC) of $8 per person added at the time of booking. For bookings made via third parties, the EMC is not included in the advertised price and will be collected by the crew on the day of travel.
The Environmental Management Charge (EMC) is a government-imposed levy collected from visitors to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. This fee, sometimes referred to as the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Tax, is mandated by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA) to support the sustainable management and conservation of the reef.
In the current economic environment, we are experiencing rapidly rising fuel prices. For this reason, an extra fuel levy may apply to the fare you have paid. If this is the case, you will be advised in advance and given the option to cancel the booking at no cost.
