Relax at Whitehaven Beach with a premium beach club setup, shaded lounges, paddle boards, buffet lunch and over four hours of beach time. Optional snorkelling available. Departs Airlie Beach daily.
This Whitehaven Beach Club tour is designed for travellers who want to slow down, spread out, and enjoy Australia’s most famous beach in comfort. Rather than rushing between locations, the focus is on extended time on the sand with a relaxed, club-style setup directly on Whitehaven Beach.
Departing Airlie Beach in the morning, you’ll cruise across the Whitsunday Islands aboard a modern, wave-piercing catamaran designed for stability and comfort. Travel time is just over one hour each way, maximising your time on Whitehaven Beach rather than in transit.
On arrival, you’ll be welcomed into a dedicated beach club area set up at the southern end of Whitehaven Beach. Marquees, umbrellas and shaded zones provide a comfortable base for the day, while paddle boards and beach games offer optional activities for those who want to stay active.
With more than four hours on the beach, you can swim in crystal-clear shallows, walk along the silica sand, relax in the shade or explore at your own pace. A buffet lunch is served during the day, along with morning and afternoon snacks.
Guests who want to see more of the region can take a self-guided walk to the Southern Whitehaven Lookout, offering elevated views across the Whitsunday Islands and the coastline. This walk is optional and completed at your own pace.
Snorkelling is available as an optional upgrade and is not mandatory for guests who prefer to stay on the beach.
Those who choose to snorkel are transferred by boat to a nearby fringing reef, selected on the day based on conditions and visibility. The snorkelling session lasts approximately one hour and is suitable for beginners.
Snorkelling equipment and safety instruction are provided, with lycra suits available seasonally.
This flexible setup allows mixed groups to enjoy the same tour, even if some guests snorkel while others remain on Whitehaven Beach.
