What to Expect
Begin your day with a thrilling high-speed journey from Cairns to the World Heritage Great Barrier Reef, travelling with a small group of no more than twenty-seven guests. After checking in at The Pier Shopping Centre thirty minutes before departure, you’ll be escorted to the Cairns Marlin Marina where your fast vessel awaits. The quick transit delivers you straight to the heart of the reef, giving you maximum time in the water at two distinctly different snorkelling sites.
Across both reef locations, expect clear water, colourful coral formations, and an impressive range of marine life. Quality snorkelling gear is provided, along with flotation aids and seasonal stinger suits for comfort and safety. A snorkel guide is available for those wanting added support or local insight into the reef’s ecosystems.

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the travel date will incur no penalty.
For cancellations made within 24 hours of the travel date, 100% of the total charge will apply.
A moderate level of fitness and mobility is required to enjoy the Reef Adventures product, particularly surrounding the entry and exit into the vessel at the Great Barrier Reef. Travellers who have had recent surgical procedures have back issues/problems or that have respiratory or heart conditions should reconsider their participation in the Reef Adventures product.
Children under 6 years old or guests over 65 are not permitted.
Pregnant women are welcome onboard as long as they are cleared by their doctor.
